{Yesterday's just a memory, tomorrow is never what it's supposed to be.} - Bob Dylan

“Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you're wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn't love you anymore.”
  {Every dream and every thought, everything you though could be is now a whisper in the dark. Nothing can or will last forever, nothing is ever sure. Cling to what's in front of you, because tomorrow it might not be there.}

"Always remember to, just breathe."

Pinterest!

My new found love is, pinterest. I have no idea why it took me so long to find out about it, but it's amazing! Yes, its a bunch of photos being "repinned" (which reminds me of another site, *cough-cough tumblr) but I've found so many useful DIY ideas and beauty tips! Like this one...
{How to make hair grow faster...}
I found a picture of this on pinterest which led me to the original link, HERE.
A simple idea, using coconut milk. Yesterday I went and bought myself some coconut milk and new shower caps. I can't wait to try it later today and get my hair looong!

“Coconut milk helps the hair grow long and thick,” says Indian ayurvedic skincare expert Pratima Raichur. (The kind from a can is fine.) “Rub it onto the scalp, leave it on for an hour or so, then wash it out.”

Check out my boards on my pinterest HERE!! And follow if you like what you see...

Oh blogger...

Reading other blogs has changed my perspective on a lot of things, blogging is like a whole new world. Living on an island does you little justice when it comes to style, photography, foods and so on. I've come across some new blogs that I've completely fell in love with and just thought I'd share! Obviously these bloggers have been around for quite some time, so don't judge, I'm a new blogger! {Style & Food & Photography}

STYLE
1. Wish Wish Wish - I absolutely adore the photography,  but the style is something I dig since I'm really into more vintage looks.

2. Keiko Lynn - Pinup & vintage. Need I say more? Keiko is from Brooklyn and is a big inspiration since a lot of her clothes is from not-so-pricey stores, and that works great for me!

FOOD
3. 101 Cookbooks - OMG it all looks so yummy. Just check it out and see for yourself.

4. Sprouted Kitchen - Like healthy food? Look no further, this blog is committed to making whole foods, and healthy never looked so good.

The education corner!

As an aspiring jewelry designer, I've spent some time researching  about different gems, and let me just say, there's a good reason why they're called "precious gems."

For instance, Labradorite.
Did you know that this is a mineral called a feldspar that is a group of tectosilicate minerals that make up as much as 60% of the earths crust? Bet you didn't know that!

So the next time you see this stone on jewelry...
Try to remember what I just wrote.
It's such a weird thing how the earth is connected in so may ways, and how years and years ago someone dug in some dirty place to find a stone that would turn up to look like this, not knowing a thing about it.

DIY party favors!

This was typically meant for a wedding I'm guessing, since it's coming from a wedding blog. But, I really like this idea and it could be used for any occasion. The only downside would be having to hunt down toilet paper rolls from the trash!
The article and photos can be found HERE!

The final product!
